Havenside Taskforce (HST) was founded when Casten Maziel Waryn received a CR-90 Assassin-class Corvette. Given that his cousins already commanded a Taskforce of their own to serve the Waryn United Space Fleet, Casten felt compelled to start one on his own as proof that he was a valuable addition to the family. Havenside was founded under the belief that Casten could provide a political asylum for the core and extended family within the capital ships he'd amassed, as well as serve as a peaceful nexus with factions outside the family's home. Thus the taskforce quickly took the role of the Diplomatic Taskforce of the Waryn Fleet.
