- Hello and welcome back! This is my second series continuing from Silent Stars! With The Dark Forest defeated Clan life should be much easier. But is it? As revealed in Hidden Shadows there is yet another new prophecy; Four will come, the first born into the new homes, who will destroy Thunder, Shadow, Wind and River. - The Chosen were a group of up to four Time Lords who existed on Gallifrey during its golden age. The true origins of the small cult is clouded in mystery, but it is a well known fact that they held some high ground in the Citadel of the Time Lords and had a say in a lot of the important decisions made there. The place considered home of the Chosen was the Temple of Time, a small church-like building deep within the Citadel where the people of Gallifrey would go to worship these supposed gods, and it is also where apparently the Chosen claimed a lust for power.
- The Chosen are a highly religious cult who were formed by the Guardian (also known as Jaffa). Following the belief that Zoot was a God, they strive to bring his message of 'Power and Chaos' to all corners of the world. Chosen followers believe that they were each chosen by Zoot to spread his word. They believe in the Trinity - Zoot, the Supreme Mother Trudy, and their daughter Brady. Most of the core group of the Chosen were at one point or other, Locusts. When Zoot was killed, the faction split off and followed Jaffa, to become the Chosen, intent on spreading Zoot's word of Power and Chaos.
- A 1967 coming of age story by Chaim Potok set in late-forties New York. The story features a friendship between two Jewish boys from different sects. One is Danny Saunders the heir to the Rabbinate of an Ultra Orthodox congregation of Russian immigrants. The other is Reuven Malter who is from a more moderate and Americanized but still religious family. His father is a noted intellectual and Zionist activist. Danny is being subjected to a curious form of training called "raising in silence" which entails being shunned by one's own father, an attempt to teach him "what it is to suffer" to prepare him to be a Rebbe (kind of like a Rabbi but with more mystic and authoritative, almost priestly connotations). - The Chosen is the term used to refer to the player's character, AdventureQuest’s protagonist who, during the events of the game, becomes the Avatar of Hope (The Final Battle!). Selected by Lorithia herself (Absol-ution IV), the Chosen is an Adventurer—or Guardian, in case the player has upgraded his or her account—tasked with the protection of Lore and its inhabitants (Frostval 2013: Do Moglin Dream of Electric Doom Sheep?, Past Unraveled III).
