Upon reaching the invisible "floor" (a form of "invisible wall") you may lose some health. If it works correctly, you will be able to explore the underside of the UNSC Pillar of Autumn. It has been discovered that the same glitch applies to the final airlock in the level. The effect, walls and area are the same but the end cutscene may stop you.

However, when outside the Pillar of Autumn, you can only explore a small part of the ship, and can only travel approximately 190 meters away from the ship before you reach an invisible wall. Also, when outside, there is no way to climb back in. This means the player has to revert to last checkpoint to get back inside.
