In this episode, Charlie's new girlfriend, Chelsea (Jennifer Bini Taylor), asks him to spend the night at her place, which puts Charlie well outside of his comfort zone. During the night, he finds a lot of problems and cannot sleep, such as Charlie sleeping on the left side of the bed (At Charlie's house, Charlie usually sleeps on the right side of the bed). He gets up to leave but steps on Chelsea's cat which screams loudly, waking Chelsea up and causing her to angrily kicking Charlie out. Charlie talks her in to giving him another chance, but when Charlie makes too many adjustments she decides she'll happily spend nights at his place from now on.

Meanwhile, When Jake tells Alan to go to the movies with him for bonding, Alan gets suspicious and tells Jake what did he do. Jake confesses that he mooned a bunch of girls in school. He also confesses to Alan that a pregnant Judith has grounded him for two weeks. Jake attempts to sneak in watching television without catching heat from Alan. Alan soon catches Jake in Charlie's bathroom, telling him if television is really important to him. Charlie later finds Alan in Charlie's bathtub, with Alan replying "Hello".
