About: Gravity Eruption Cannon   Sponge Permalink

An Entity of Type : owl:Thing, within Data Space : dbkwik.webdatacommons.org associated with source dataset(s)

The Gravity Eruption Cannon, or GEC, was an enormously powerful super-weapon, capable of mass destruction. By using isolated photons and artificial short-lived microgravity, the atoms of a special chemical that causes gravity to convert into intense heat energy can be connected to a photon. These special photons were then gathered in a large enough amount to use and then "shot" out of the cannon. When this light hit the surface of a planet, the effect of the chemical was triggered, causing the air to super heat into plasma and float upwards, literally causing a laser to fire from the ground.
