A maximum damage weapon is a weapon with the best possible damage range for its type. Weapons with such ranges will always have an attribute requirement of 7 at lowest and 13 at highest. All other things being equal, a weapon with a lower requirement will be worth more to another player in trade than one with a higher requirement. The maximum damage range for each type of weapon is as follows:

Watch this for maximum damage. However this does not change the "DPS".
