This Council was formed up of the corporate heads and bankers who were unwittingly organized by the Sith Lord to drag the Confederacy's war effort into the mire of bureaucracy and greed and distract from the honest aspirations of the Parliament. The Council served as the major investors in the Confederate cause and therefore held great sway over the military which they bankrolled and donated. The Droid Armies were placed under the control of the Supreme Commander Grievous who answered directly to Head of State Dooku. It wasn't until the Jedi Order learned of the deception of the Republic's Supreme Chancellor and the involvement of the Sith on both sides that the Confederacy underwent radical change. The Droid Armies were disabled and the war ended following a truce with the Republic and the Jedi after the latter arrested and incarcerated the entire Council of Financiers and revealed Dooku's treachery to the Parliament. With the removal of the Sith from the Confederacy's politics, the government was able to thrive while working with the Republic to remain independent. The Jedi Order established an embassy on Raxus Secundus and began collecting Forceful children from Confederate planets. Their policies thrived and their planets rallied together to celebrate a new era of peace and prosperity.
