The University of Southern California, or "USC", is a private university in Los Angeles, California. Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale both graduated from the USC film school (officially, the USC School of Cinematic Arts). In 2002, students at the film school posed questions to Zemeckis and Gale in advance of the release of the Back to the Future trilogy on DVD, and the "Q & A session" (moderated by Laurent Bouzereau) became part of the featured commentary on all three films.
