The Q-34 was manufactured on the Separatist foundry world of Hypori in the final months of the Clone Wars. It, along with its four sister ships, the Lucrehulk-class battleships Q-32, Q-33, Q-35, and the Q-36, were held in orbit to protect against a possible Republic sneak attack on the major remaining bastion of the Separatists. However, this was all disinformation perpetrated by Republic Intelligence that kept Separatist fleets at the back lines where they could not fight the Republic. However, after the droid deactivation was broadcasted from the Separatist bunker on Mustafar, the Q-34 was also inactivated. A small team of Republic clone troopers and engineers landed on the batteship, confirming that it had deactivated like it had been commanded to.
