Safe Zones are areas that, as the name implies, offer protection from zombies in Dead Rising 3. There are at least two safe zones in every district of Los Perdidos (3 in Sunset Hills). At safe zones, Nick can grab any weapons that he's picked up from the weapon locker, as well as any clothing from the closet. She can create these zones by firing at Light Beacons and killing Lightflyers. The Safe Zones also protect Samus from Ing to a certain extent. They can still use their beam attacks, swipe Samus with their limbs if she is close enough and roll through to attempt to possess her, however.
