- Walt Davis is a former NASCAR driver from Oakland, CA. He competed in two Nextel Cup Series events in his career, earning top-tens both times. Both of his races came in 1951, when Davis debuted at Oakland. Starting positions for both of his races are unknown, but Davis drove to a solid 10th place effort at Oakland. He proved it was no fluke at all in his other race, finishing 10th at Gardena.
