Just hitting the PgUp key once, will cause your avatar to jump up and down. Keeping it down will convince the avatar to actually start flying. To attain greater heights, just use the PgUp key for as many times as needed. In the event that you want to fly at a lower hight, use the PgDn key. As from use of the PageUp and PageDown keys, flying around is very much the same as walking around.

Generally, the maximum speed is determined by the cost of the item, with the most expensive ones that can be bought with Penya reaching up to speeds of 218km/h. With Cash Shop items in the game, speeds of up to 276km/h can be reached, and GMs have a special board that can go 312 km/h. A character can dismount in midair and will fall until reaching the ground. Regardless of how high the drop may be, the character will receive no damage from the impact.

  • There are many ways of flying in a dream. However, not every technique is equally successful for everyone. * "Swimming" through the air. Moving one's body as if swimming, through propel oneself through the air. May be physically exhausting, however. * Flying like a bird: flapping one's arms/wings serves to propel oneself through the air. (Note: sometimes takes painfully long to gain altitude--not recomended for quick escapes) * Superman/Neo-style: very high-speed flying, without any effort to speak of. Superman style involves one of the arms outstretched like that of the famous do-gooder, and the Neo style involves both arms lying straight, downwards towards the hips. * Using a jetpack: Simply find/create one, put it on, and fly off! A simple technique! * Moving one's "bo
  • Flying is an instrumental song featured on the Magical Mystery Tour film soundtrack, and on the subsequent double EP (UK) and album (US). Although instrumental, it features a chorus sung by all four Beatles, with Ringo's voice being the most apparent. This song was written by all four Beatles, and credited to Lennon/McCartney/Harrison/Starr. The track originally lasted 9 minutes and 38 seconds, but was cut to 2 minutes 17 seconds for the album. Part of the excised Mellotron ending (created by Lennon and Starr) was used as incidental music for the Magical Mystery Tour film.
  • Among Special Abilities, Flying is one of the most common in all of Heroscape. Figures with the Flying ability may choose, before moving, to start flying, and while flying, figures move as normal, but ignore elevations and obstacles, as well as engagement with any figures they may pass over. If a figure begins flying while engaged, they automatically take all leaving engagement attacks even if they do not move away from these figures.
  • Flying is not implemented in Neverwinter Nights. Whether or not a creature is considered to fly is based upon its appearance. The following appearances count as flying.
  • Flying is an intrinsic property. The effects of flying are: * You can pass over pits, holes, trap doors, squeaky boards, bear traps, water or lava safely. (Pits and holes in Sokoban will still trap you.) * Land mines have a chance of not being triggered, and will not wound your legs. * Improved chances of avoiding death by drawbridge. * You can move freely over ice or on the Plane of Air. * Wounded legs do not reduce your carrying capacity. * No ill effects from descending stairs when encumbered, fumbling or punished. * You are out of reach of xans' attacks. * You escape the dungeon rather than dying by level teleporting to levels between -9 and -1. * You can dip objects into water, unlike with levitation. * You cannot pick up items trapped in a pit.
  • There is an art, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss. Pick a nice day and try it. All it requires is simply the ability to throw yourself forward with all your weight, and the willingness not to mind that it's going to hurt. That is, it's going to hurt if you fail to miss the ground. Most people fall to miss the ground, and if they are really trying properly, the likelihood is that they will fail to miss it fairly hard. Clearly, it is the second part, the missing, which presents the difficulties. DO NOT WAVE AT ANYBODY.
  • Flying , also known as Aerial, or Float, is a recurring type of enemy in the Final Fantasy series. Flying enemies are enemies which appear above the ground. Ground-based attacks miss Flying enemies, and in some games they are completely immune to all Earth-elemental damage; and have a characteristic Wind-elemental tolerance that varies greatly from game to game. In games with the Float status they are constantly under its effect.
