- Puffer Fish are a species of fish living around the island's seas. They are currently green and orange varieties. A particularly large member of their species is found in Soda Seas of Aqua Grabber as the Guardian of the level's Amethyst. A large number of Puffer Fish is seen in the Aqua Rescue! mini-game in Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force: Herbert's Revenge.

- According to the Jowai Resort Owner, Felton Razz, most the lifeforms on Pokitaru were originally docile in nature.
