Arthur Mitchell, or better known as the Trinity Killer, is the main antagonist of the fourth season of the Dexter TV series. He was portrayed by John Lithgow who also voiced Lord Farquaad in Shrek.

- Mitchell joined the New York City Ballet in 1955, becoming the second African-American member. He rose to principal dancer and performed in Agon (doing a highly acclaimed pas de deux), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Puck), Don Quixote (dancing the Rigaudon flamenco), and in a Playhouse 90 TV version of The Nutcracker (for the Arabian coffee dance). Before his ballet career started, Mitchell danced in the ensemble of the Broadway musicals Four Saints in Three Acts and House of Flowers and later assistant choreographed the short-lived 1957 musical Shinbone Alley.

Es un asesino en serie que probablemente se trate del más exitoso y prolífico de la historia de America (únicamente superado por Dexter en cuanto a supervivencia). Entre la investigación de sus asesinatos por el agente especial Frank Lundy y el descubrimiento de su identidad, fue apodado como el asesino Trinity ya que inicialmente se creía que su ciclo consistía en tres asesinatos. Sin embargo, posteriormente se descubre que en realidad lleva a cabo cuatro (entierra vivos a niños de 10 años después de secuestrarles, con lo cual empieza su cadena de asesinatos). Es popularmente odiado debido a que al final de la cuarta temporada, antes de que Dexter pudiera matarlo, Arthur asesina a Rita, dejando a Harrison, Astor y Cody sin madre.
