Growth is a power-up that increases a hero's physical size and strength. An enlarged hero does a lot more damage, but is also a bigger target. Slam attacks from a Golem can still knock a hero down, however.

- The mutant grows up to D3+1 times its original size. It's profile is affected as follows: Chaos Armour changes to accomodate this attribute. Other armour must be discarded and new gear of appropriate size acquired.
- Growth is a mutant/human/cryptid hybrid. Growth is plant-like in appearance. In cryptozoology he is known as the Tree Beast of Utah. Growth can shoot a green liquid out of the palms of his hands. If this liquid hits a human mortal the effects of it can be devastating. The only exception is Master Beast. Growth confronted Beast as his human form, and hosed him with the liquid. This blast gave him powers and abilities. Ever since then, Beast has tried to track Growth down.
- The growth time of any plant, crop or tree is specific for each resource and also controlled by the climate. Each resouce has specific ranges in which it will grow at normal rate, slowed down rate or not at all. The following table lists the growth time factor that is applied to the specific time for each resource: This is so far a theory that has yet to be verified. The following tables record growth time for various resources (work in progress):

- Our biggest problem is not growth; it's not funds; it's not members, or clubs, or the DCP. Our biggest problem is succession. Our greatest strength as an organization – the fact that we roll our leaders over every year – is also the one thing that holds us back the most. What we need to do as an organization is set a Big Hairy Audacious Goal – one that we can execute over five years, not five months. Human beings want a clear sense of direction. They buy into a clear goal. This will help with succession planning because: 1. The successors know what's expected of them 2. People want to succeed. Nothing succeeds like success. 3. There's a clear idea of everybody's role and how it fits into the five and 10-year goal.
- Abilities that use Growth are more powerful for every turn they are not played.
- Growth is a non-damaging Normal-type move introduced in the first generation.
- Some unusual crystalline fragments are discovered in a lab, which begin to feed off the city's power grid and grow into new lifeforms. This is the twenty first episode of Star Trek: Abandoned.
- In the Heroes of Might and Magic series, a creature's growth is the number of units of it's type that are produced weekly in a recruiting center (usually a town). Depending on the game, the growth can be influenced by several factors.
- Growth: Capacity to multiply what one is.
