| - A rat/scarab hybrid
- Scrags (also known as marine trolls, aquatic trolls, sea scrags, and sea trolls) were an aquatic version of troll. There were two varieties: freshwater trolls and saltwater trolls.
- File:Quake1.gif In Quake, a Scrag is a kind of floating creature resembling a white Cobra snake combined with a human torso that spits small yellowish green globs of poison spray at their opponents. These globs can last up to ten seconds if they do not collide with any entity or surface. In some places, the Scrag is known as a Wizard (for example, the Scrag model is stored in a file "wizard.mdl" inside PAK0.PAK). This is perhaps due to being influenced on the HP Lovecraft creature called the Wizard. The Scrag floats by means of a gas bladder. If the Scrag is killed, so is the bladder, causing it to fall to the ground.
- Scrag war ein Mitglied von Bebop und Rocksteadys Gang in der 1987iger Zeichentrickserie und den daraus abgeleiteten Archie Comics.
- There are many warrior-Banes of the Wyrm, and some of the best known are Scrags. Scrags are ghastly middling-Jaggling spirits of murder, known for having all the subtlety of that horrific act. The appear as ghoulish spirits, sickly green-grey with razor like claws and fangs. They move about like a Gorilla, on hands and knuckles in a perpetual slouch, though this belies their frightening speed and agility. Their violence is not held in check, and as soldiers, they engage in orgies of bloodlust.
- Scrag was a member of Bebop and Rocksteady's Gang. He appeared in the 1987 TV series, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures, and Turtles Forever. His name comes from a coloring book. He appears in Turtle Tracks and Enter the Shredder. He also has a Cameo in Turtles Forever and he is a mutant bat in Hot Rodding Teenagers from Dimension X and Shredder & Splintered. Also he appears in the Archie Comics "Heroes in a Half-Shell" mini-series.
