  • Thwomp are enemies that appear in the Mario series of games. They try to hit the player by smashing them.
  • A Thwomp is an enemy in most Super Mario games, usually in Bowser Castle levels. If Mario ever got near them, they would come crashing down and squash him, making him lose a life. In the Mario Kart series, Thwomps are obstacles that usually appear in Bowser's Castle tracks too (a few exceptions). They can either block a racer's path or squish them, which in turns makes them lose lot's of time.
  • Thwomps are unbeatable enemies in Super Paper Mario. In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door there are Thwomps that quiz you, one near Shhwonk Fortress and the other in X-Naut Fortress with a robot appearance. In the Shhwonk Fortress when you're incorrect, clefts come out and battle you.
  • Thwomps are recurring enemies in the Legend of Zelda series. They are giant, spiky stone blocks that appear only in the two-dimensional sections of their respective games. These invincible enemies attack Link by dropping from the ceiling. Thwomps originated as enemies in the Super Mario Bros. series.
  • Thwomps are large stone creatures that hide on ceilings until Mario passes under them, and they will fall down in an attempt to crush him. They are usually either blue or gray in color, and may be covered in spikes.
  • Thwomps are floating rock-like enemies in the Mario Series. Thier way of attacking is smashing things beneath them. They fall down from the ceiling or the sky and try to crush anyone who goes under them or near them. A subspecies of Thwomps called Grindels move horizontally and they first appeared in Super Mario Bros. 3. Thwomps can be defeated with a Star, or Mario can throw Hammers at them as Hammer Mario. Most Thwomps appear in castles and fortresses but sometimes the can be found in deserts and underground areas. Some say that Thwomps are born in the Thwomp Volcano. Due to their rock-like nature, they are often categorized along with Chain Chomps and Bob-Ombs.
  • Thwomps typically are found in castles and fortresses in the Mario universe. Thwomps will crash down on a player whenever the player gets close to them. Thwomps are just Thwomps. Thwomps can be defeated by certain projectiles and by the Starman. There are even smaller versions of Thwomps that hop, called Thwimps.
