  • Tumble is a character that was first introduced in Mario Party 3 for the Nintendo 64. He was a host for some of the mini-games and things similar to what Toad did on the first two Mario Party Games. He slightly resembles a Toad. He has hands with white gloves, and wears red shoes, but he does not have arms or legs connecting them to his body. After Mario Party 3, he didn't appear in any game until 5 years later with Mario Party Advance for the Game Boy Advance. In this game he played a similar role to the one he played in Mario Party 3.
  • The character with high tumbling is able to roll away from attacks during combat, positioning themselves safely at all times. Any time the character might receive an attack of opportunity for moving past enemies, they will automatically attempt a tumble check against a DC of 15. If successful the attack is avoided. For every ten ranks in this skill (not including Dexterity bonus) the character's armor class is also improved by +1. Check: DC 15 to avoid attack of opportunity while moving.
  • Tumble's shift was increased from one-half the user's speed to the full amount of the user's speed in the July 2010 rules update. This was done to improve the rogue's ability to gain combat advantage by increasing the class's mobility.
  • Tumble is a golden-furred male Sheltie Retriever Greyhound mix pup with a fuzzy narrow body, shaggy fur, a long muzzle, a large soft head, a slender muzzle, floppy ears, and large dark-brown eyes.
  • If tumbling characters hit the ground without teching, they will land into a lying down position, and must then use a Floor Recovery. Floor Recoveries cannot be executed for a certain amount of time after landing.
  • Tumble is a major character that appears in Mario Party 3. He takes over as the main host for mini-games and is the one that explains the settings for the games.
