  • Effects which take place to inform the player something happened, are status effects.
  • The next Bloons Tower Defense game will have many types of status effects that can be caused in different ways and last for different amounts of time. Depending on the type, these may affect towers or special agents (or both), and may be positive or negative. Examples of status effects include Poisoned (a negative effect), Immune (a positive effect), Guilty Conscience (a negative effect); but there are more as well. Some items and gear cause status effects, but this is not the only way they can be caused.
  • Status Effects, once inflicted on a player or mob, last for a certain amount of time, imparting various (primarily damage-oriented) effects on those afflicted by them.
  • A status effect changes the current state (or normal state) of it's target. Effects can be beneficial such as the spell Speeda, which increases the speed that the target performs an action, or detrimental such as the spell Poison which causes the target to take periodic damage every turn. Such effects are referred to as Status Ailments. For every Ailment there is a cure either in the form of an item or in that of spell. All Status Effects, good and bad, are removed at the end of battle.
  • Certain Skills leave Status Effects, damaging or penalising the target. The effects are temporary and remove themselves after a period of time. Some of the Status Effects are rather special in that they affect your controls:
  • Status Effects (AKA Potion Effects) are effects that can benefit or harm Mobs and the Player. The first few Status Effects were added in Update 0.11.0.
  • Status effects, also known as abnormal conditions (状態異常 abnormal conditions?), and special damage (特殊ダメージ special damage?), are effects that temporary modify a character's status, either in a positive or negative way. It appears in several Mega Man games, specially in the Mega Man Battle Network and Mega Man Star Force series.
  • Some element type attacks from folks can cause status effects. Sleep, Charm, Bond and Thunder will stop your character from moving or attacking for a short period of time. To remove an effect, quickly rotate the left anolog stick. Other than avoiding these attacks, some Cloaks will offer protection.
  • Status Effects are special effects that create a lingering, temporary change to the affected target's stats. Status Buffs refer to positive changes while Status Debuffs refer to negative changes. Status Effects can almost always stack for increased power, meaning having multiple players attempt to stack a single effect may prove to make a major difference. Some Status Effects can only be found on specific Monsters. Most Status Effects are afflicted by various player or enemy monster abilities. All Status Effects are removed upon the completion of Quests and Battles.
  • Status effects can disable or buff an unit (or party) depending on their nature. Offensive status effects can be considered disabilities since they effectively disable the enemy. Beneficiary status effects can be considered as buffs that increases the strength of the unit (or party). This page will go over all status effects available in game.
  • Status Effects are ailments that Pokémon can receive during battle. These status conditions are paralysis, poison, sleep, frozen, and burn. All these effects can be cured with a Lum Berry, a Full Heal, a Full Restore, a Lava Cookie, an Old Gateau, Heal Powder, a Miracle Berry, a Casteliacone, or Sacred Ash. Pokémon with the Synchronize ability can pass any status effect, apart from the sleep and frozen conditions, inflicted on them back to the Pokémon that inflicted the status effect.
  • Status Effects are effects that affect the player's status in The World. There are effects that affect stat values (such as attack or defense) and effects that can cause the player to act strangely (such as attacking allies or being unable to move). A player's vulnerability to bad status effects depends on the body or spirit stat. Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.
  • Status Effects are a game mechanic in Demon's Souls. As a general rule, status effects are an anomalous circumstance of a player, NPC, or enemy's status, possibly indicated by a special aura or, in the case of the player, an icon below the Stamina bar, as well as being temporary or reversible. One exception is Soul Drain, which is technically only reversible by leveling up to make up for the loss.

  • There are five different Status effects in Hellgate: London; Ignite, Phase, Poison, Shock and Stun. In order to apply a status effect to an enemy the player must first deal the corresponding damage to the enemy. In addition to this the player must also have some equipment that gives + to the particular status effect strength.
  • From Monster Hunter 3 onward, certain monster attacks can inflict Hunters with status effects known collectively as Blights. The higher the Element Resistance on your armor against the corresponding Element, the less likely the Blight will be inflicted upon being hit. A low Element Resistance means the Blight effect will be more potent and proportionally more damage will be received from the attack. The Severe versions of Blights will last longer, and they can all be negated with the skill Blightproof. Shakalakas or Felyne Comrades cannot be affected by Blights.
  • Status Effects come in various forms and can be beneficial, hurtful, or both.
  • Status Effects bring positive or negative effects on creatures. The related icons can be seen on Gorion's Ward or Companions portraits in party. They can be gained from items, spells, potions, creatures' attacks, traps, quests or even the mere passage of time (fatigue).
  • The Status Effects are: Critical, Knockback, Stagger, Burn, Sleep, Freeze, Poison, and Tumble.
  • Status Effects are conditions that can help or hurt in battle. Mario, his partners, and his enemies can all be affected by them. A list of possible status changes is below.

Status effects may be Lifted or prevented by moves like Refresh(Lifts all Status Effects), or Safeguard(Prevents status Effects for 2-5 turns), Or abilities like Natural Cure(Heals status effects when switched out)Or Limber(Prevents Paralysis) Most status effects are kept after battles end.
  • Primary Planet: Deep Jungle Remedy: Anti-Poison reduces Poison value by 50% Effect: Depletes at rate of 1% per second, dealing [ceiling(total percent / 50)] each time it depletes. That is, Poison deals 1 damage per tick while total Poison is less than 50%, 2 damage per tick while total is between 50% and 100%, 3 damage per tick while total is between 100% and 150%, and so on.   • Status effects are adverse conditions that can affect hunters in (mostly) negative ways. Status effects can result from the special abilities of some monsters, from traps, from some techniques, from Mags, or from certain weapons. Most status effects wear off over time; Paralysis and Poison are the only exceptions as they stay in effect until cured. The effects of all status effects are frozen on Pioneer II.
  • When the player's character takes a certain type of damage, it's reduced (or increased) by X% depending on his resistance for that damage type: File:SOC Protect Icon Imp.png Impact – Reduces damage caused by fall damage and physical impacts.   • Status Effects can be caused by a multitude of causes. Status effects, as the name would suggest, affect the status of members of the party.
