  • "The Keeper" was an Umbrella employee assigned to take care of creatures used in t-Virus experiments. He worked in the Spencer Mansion in 1998 and wrote down in his diary.
  • A ghostly necromancer boss found at the end of level 1 of the Cathedral of Flames dungeon. Upon killing him and his group the gates to level 2 will open.
  • The Keeper is noted as a horror by Nephandus on par with Verdigris and Baba Yaga, and above Sonnenorden and the Grand Hall of Sinister Wisdom.
  • The Keeper was a male Talosian magistrate in the 23rd century. A necklace with a round pendant distinguished him from other Talosians.
  • The Keeper was a banelar naga involved in the Zhent invasion of Shadowdale in 1375 DR.
  • In any city or town, go to a supermarket. Go to any of the workers there and say the following words: "I wish to speak with 'The Keeper'." If they fall, run away as fast as you can, don't look back and don't stop, for you have summoned Satan. If you don't run, you shall go insane and commit suicide. If they don't fall, they will take you to the way back of the storage room, there will be a couch. Sit on the middle cushion or experience one thousand years of pain. If there's a golden cat charm, keep it for money.
  • The Keeper, known as Goarikeeper (ゴーリキーパー Gōrikīpā?) in Japan, is a miniboss in Mega Man 10. It consists of a large soccer goal-like area with a head on top and two large fists. It appears twice in Strike Man's stage. The Keeper attempts to smash Mega Man with its fists, which create stunning shockwaves. After each fist pounds the ground, Mega Man can jump onto it and be raised high enough to shoot the head. In its second appearance, The Keeper also has electric fields on its posts so that Mega Man's movement is restricted to a smaller area.
  • The Keeper was the innkeeper of Pilgrim's Rest Inn. As it was located in the sickly Great Southern Forest on Lord Yun's land, the Keeper and its residents suffered from attacks by ghosts and a fox spirit, named the Forest Shadow. Because of these problems no one new had entered the inn in months, excluding Henpecked Hou who was appointed as shop keeper. The Keeper sent out a single Inn messenger to Tien's Landing in hopes of him bringing help and food, even though all other messengers sent out into the forest had never returned.
  • The Sovereign of Death and Decay, The Keeper represents greed and gluttony, the inverse of his brother Kol Korran's focus on material wealth and generosity. He is seen as the hunger in the dark, grabbing hold of anyone straying too far from the light. He alone is able to waylay dead souls on their way to Dolurrh and it is said that once in the Keeper's clutches a soul may never escape. Because of his association with souls and the afterlife he has become almost the default deity of necromancers across Eberron.
  • The Keeper was a machine with an artificial intelligence located on Keeper's World. It was accompanied by four android children. Built by a non-violent civilization to preserve their homeworld in a time of war, the Keeper drew its power from its home planet's core, which allowed it to survive long after the people had fled. The Keeper was installed to restore the world to its former status for its makers, so that when they would return years later, the planet would be suitable for them to live on.
