| - Jason Todd was once one of the main protagonists in the Batman comic books, but he was killed by the Joker and was later revived by the effects of Superboy-Prime. Because of this he became enraged and took the identity of a villain called the Red Hood II.
- Jason Todd, also known as Red Robin, was the second boy to done the tights of Robin. After starting as a street urchin in Gotham City that stole to get by, he got lucky in his choices when he tried to steal the tires of the Batmobile. After a short time in a military school, he was brought in as the replacement Robin for Dick Grayson. He served as Robin until he died. Due to some reality-changing made by Superman-Prime, however, he managed to be resurrected, and came back evil as Red Hood II, the former alias of the Joker, promptly setting off to defeat Batman and the Joker. After this, however, he developed a serious case Hero/Villain Transfer Syndrome, which would turn his life into chaos.

The character was killed off by a vote of 5343-5271. Subsequent Batman stories dealt with Batman's guilt over not being able to prevent Jason's death. However, in 2004 the character was resurrected as an enemy of Batman, eventually becoming the second Red Hood and assuming a new role as an antihero who resembles Batman in many ways, except with a willingness to use lethal force and weapons. - Jason Peter Todd is a fictional character appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. Jason Todd first appeared in Batman #357 (1983) and became the second Robin, sidekick to the superhero Batman, when the previous Robin, Dick Grayson went on to star in The New Teen Titans under the moniker of Nightwing.
