- The lore surrounding the Ozma monarchy is discussed sporadically. A series of Ozmas previously ruled Oz for centuries and each defined with a title before the Wizard invaded the land and overthrew the monarchy. The reign of Ozma is a Lurlinist tradition in believing that she reincarnates herself. In being born from coming of age, Oz is ruled by the Ozma Regent which is usually the previous Ozma's husband. Legend says she is hidden and is frozen in ice in a cave, but obviously in later books, its revealed that she was magically turned into a male. Elphaba makes several remarks about Ozma in not believing in a "child savior".
- Ozma is the largest of the three Ra-Seru that accompany Vahn, Noa and Gala. Like the others, Ozma's outer shell is glossy in appearance. His body color is dark blue and metallic spikes adorn the top of his head. Metal fangs resembling saber teeth hang downward in front of Gala's fists as well. When using his powers, Ozma's body will surge with electricity. As he grows, Ozma will start to cover more of Gala's arm and eventually wrap around it entirely. When in his true form, Ozma somewhat resembles a stone golem. In the opening FMV and its CGI, Ozma's body color is blue gray and the fangs are silver.
- Ozma (also referred to as Princess Ozma or Queen Ozma) is a fictional character invented by L. Frank Baum, author and creator of the Oz legacy. She makes her debut appearance in Baum's second Oz book titled The Marvelous Land of Oz, published in 1904. However, she is first introduced as an adolescent orphan boy of Gillikin descent called Tippetarius but nicknamed "Tip", who serves as the main protagonist in the story and whose true identity is not revealed until the end of the novel.
- Ozma is an optional superboss in Final Fantasy IX. A very unusual-looking monster, Ozma appears as a sphere patterned with bright, swirling colors (the top half representing light and good, the bottom half darkness and evil, or, supposedly, Gaia and Terra). Because Ozma is found inside a so-called "Eidolon cave", it can be speculated that Ozma, much like Leviathan, was an Eidolon whose power the summoners couldn't harness, and it was thus locked away.
