F.L.U.T.T. stands for Freaky Losers Use This Thing. This abbreviation is not approved by many parents since it uses a naughty word (thing) and some complained, so Nintendo changed the name to F.L.U.D.D. (Flash Liquidizer Ultra Dousing Device). This name was better.

  • F.L.U.D.D. makes a small appearance in Super Mario MHL. He helps Mario clean up goop in Water Coliseum and on Daisy Cruiser.
  • The Flash Liquidizer Ultra Dousing Device, abbreviated as F.L.U.D.D, is a water-squirting accessory made by Professor E. Gadd. It is seen and used in Super Mario Sunshine by Mario to complete missions.
  • The Flash Liquidizer Ultra Dousing Device, better known as F.L.U.D.D. or FLUDD (called PUMP in Japan), is a water pack from Super Mario Sunshine. Mario uses it to spray things, such as graffiti. He also uses it to hover in the air for a short period of time. It was created by Professor E. Gadd as revealed in Pinna Park.
  • F.L.U.D.D., (short for Flash Liquidizer Ultra Dousing Device), is Mario's Down Special Move in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. It replaces the Mario Tornado from the previous two games.
  • F.L.U.D.D., known in Japan as Pump (ポンプ, "Ponpu"), was Mario's side special move in Super Smash Flash 2. The move worked very different from its Super Smash Bros. counterpart, it was more of an offensive move than a defensive move. Mario pulled out the water cannon F.L.U.D.D. to release a charge of water that launches himself forward striking everything in his path. The move was unable to be charged in the first ever playable demo, but this feature was added in the following versions. If charged the attack was stronger and traveled faster, it could be used to either attack or recover. It was replaced by the move Cape in v0.2b of the demo. During that time, many suggestions in the Bug Reports suggested to take it back or to replace the Mario Tornado, to the Smash Bros.'s F.L.U.D.D. Another
