Smits is one of the most acclaimed actors in television history, winning one Emmy and holding an additional 11 nominations. Before coming to The West Wing, Smits starred on L.A. Law (with Corbin Bernsen and John Spencer) and NYPD Blue. He went on to star in Cane, Outlaw(with Jesse Bradford) and Sons of Anarchy, as well as a recurring role on Dexter. - Carter Pewterschmidt and Peter Griffin saw Smits at the Vogue party that Lois attended that they abducted her from in "Model Misbehavior". He endorses Mayor Adam West for West's mayoral campaign against Lois in "It Takes a Village Idiot, and I Married One". West believed this was key to get the Latino community's support. Smits is voiced by Keith Ferguson.
