| - Cub is one of the main characters of Happy Tree Friends.
- Cub was founded by Hooley Supermarkets, owned by brothers Charles and Jack Hooley in 1968. Cub originally was an acronym for Consumers United for Buying. In 1980, Cub was bought by grocer SuperValu, which soon acquired Scott's, Shop 'n Save, and Save-A-Lot. Soon, several Cub stores were sold and closed, with some sold to Kroger. In 2006, when SuperValu bought Albertsons, which included Acme Markets and Jewel-Osco, many stores were sold and closed, especially in the Chicago area. Soon, Cub Foods decreased in store number. Now, Cub Foods operates in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Illinois, with 46 stores. Cub is credited for inventing the first grocery check out conveyor belt system. Most Cub Foods stores are open 24 hours, have a full-service pharmacy, and have in-store banking.
- He lives in the wilderness with his parents (whom he has lost for a while). Cub can sometimes be a bit mean, rude and naughty, but becomes a good friend of Little Bear. Cub is voiced by Kyle Fairlie.
- Cubs (カブ, Kabu), also known as baby bears, are a species of villager in the Animal Crossing series series. They are a smaller version of bears. There are eighteen cub villagers so far. Out of the eighteen cubs, six are lazy, four are normal, three are jock, two are cranky, two are peppy, one is snooty, and one is uchi. There are no smug cubs.

- Cub is a monster added in the 2009 Christmas Edition. Requires little skill in Riding to ride comfortably, but may not be able to carry some players at full speed due to its low strength. Cubs have ranged pet AI, and will continue to make ranged attacks even while you are riding them.
- Cubs are the lowest ranked Garou, teenagers who have just changed for the first time, and have yet to undergo the Rite of Passage. (Or, 'been Rited.') Before they change, they are, to all intents and purposes, human (and/or wolves), and don't ping as anything but that on Scent of the True Form. Somewhere just around their first change, the cub's Kinfetch goes off and fetches the Garou, and the cub is brought into the fold. If the Garou does not have a Kinfetch or a clear lineage, or if he did not change at the usual time, he is known as a Lost Cub.
- The Cub is blessed with a natural talent for warfare and wanton destruction. It's what he was born to do, and as a novice training to become one of Shokaract's heralds, he's out to both further himself, honor his family, and, of course, help enslave and exterminate any who oppose his master's will.
