- Daedalus is a character from Hercules: The Animated Series. He is the son of Athena and is the creator of the Labyrinth. A great inventor, he is the father of Icarus, who refers to him as "Dadalus", and the shop teacher at Prometheus Academy. His brilliance is matched only by his own ego and eccentric behavior, which causes him to get along poorly with others. He has a very poor relationship with his son's friend Hercules, due to his clumsy and poor performance when it comes to building things.
- Daedalus is a flight instructor teaching Daevas how to fly in Eltnen Fortress. He is very passionate about flying.
- Daedalus was a great inventor. He is perhaps best-known for building a set of wings which would allow a human to fly like a bird. His son, Icarus, died while flying with these wings. After that, Daedalus began inventing weapons for King Nikolos of Euboa until Hercules convinced him to stop (HTLJ "Doomsday"). Later, Daedalus testified in defense of Hercules when he was being tried for alleged crimes against the people he helped save (HTLJ "Hercules on Trial").
- Dade "Daedalus" Hereti, the son of Hereti-Corp founder Steve Hereti, was for a long time the leader of Hereti-Corp following his hostile takeover of the company in the mid 1990's. His face has never been seen, because he has a strict policy that his "Evil Room" be kept completely dark, on pain of death. As such, all that is known about his appearance is that he has black hair and is Caucasian. He managed to escape the law after Hereti-Corp fell, and worked up his way to become a high-ranking Burger Meister executive before reforming his company. Soon after the new rise of the company, it was taken over by Dr. Schlock, who fired Daedalus and had him thrown into a cell.

- Deadalus built the Labyrinth in Crete at the behest of King Minos to contain the Minotaur which was eventually slain by Theseus. Deadalus was imprisoned to stop him revealing the secrets of the Labyrinth. In order to escape the island, he created wings out of discarded feathers and wax. He made one set for himself and another for his son, Icarus and taught Icarus how to fly. Having warned his son not to fly to close to the sun as it might melt the wax or too close to the sea as it would soak the feathers, the pair flew away from their prison. However, Icarus ignored his fathers warnings and died as a result.

- Daedalus was first established sometime during the Age of Strife by several Explorator Arks sent from Mars to establish new Forge Worlds. House Van Dyre also joined the Exploratory vessels in an attempt to reclaim their lost glory. The Arks came across Metion - a Gas Giant and it's largest moon - Daedalus. The relatively small planet took the Explorators interest and they began settling and building up the barren world. With the insurmountable experience of the Mechanicus and help from House Van Dyre, who set up on a nearby lush world of Sanct-Solum, the moon quickly became a prominent industry world of the Imperium.
