| - Pocahontas II: Journey to the New World is a 1998 straight-to-video animated film as a sequel to the Disney film Pocahontas. The film is inspired by the true events of Pocahontas after her encounter with John Smith. While in the first film her romance is focused on John Smith, the sequel involves her deep romantic love and affection for the Englishman that she had married in real life, known as John Rolfe.
- Pocahontas vive el mayor reto de su vida en su viaje a Inglaterra. - Ironically, in the end, when Pocahontas and John Rolfe get on the boat together back to America, it coincides with real life perfectly. The ironic part is that in real life, she dies on this boat ride. This greatly decreases the chance of a Pocahontas III. Spoilers end here.

- Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World (Pocahontas II: Viaje a un Nuevo Mundo en español) es una película de animación de Walt Disney Pictures de 1998, siendo una continuación de la película de 1995, Pocahontas, que al igual que esta primera película está basada en hechos reales, pero siendo la continuación de la vida historia real de Pocahontas y a la misma vez, de los últimos años de su vida. - In London, John Smith is ambushed by a group of soldiers with a warrant for his arrest and presumed dead in the ensuing confrontation; Governor Ratcliffe has lied to King James (being a personal friend of the King) and framed Smith as the traitor from the first film in a plot to declare war against the Powhatan Nation while avoiding punishment for his own crimes. In order to prevent this, the King sends a young diplomat, John Rolfe, to bring Chief Powhatan to England for negotiations. In the New World, Pocahontas, Powhatan's daughter, mourns John Smith's death but is eventually able to move on. John Rolfe soon arrives, greeted by English civilians (who by now have settled in Jamestown) and a curious Pocahontas. Rolfe eventually speaks with Powhatan, but he refuses to accompany him to Engla
- (The Disneycember logo is shown, before showing clips from Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World) Doug (vo): Yeah, because out of all the Disney properties that people seem to love the most, it was Pocahontas. Clearly we needed a sequel to that. Truth be told, I don't know what's more shocking. The fact that they actually made a sequel to this film that was so historically inaccurate and the majority of audiences didn't like, and even many said was the beginning of the downfall of hand-drawn Disney animation, or the fact that...I can't believe I'm saying this...I actually enjoy this one a little bit more than the original? But if you know what I think of the original, that's not saying much. It's still not good. In fact, there are scenes that are downright cringe-worthy to sit through. But
