  • Despite both the Dead Rising and the Resident Evil series being popular survival horror games about zombie made by Capcom, the undead from the two games are completely unrelated to one another.
  • Dead Rising (デッドライジング Deddo Raijingu?) is a survival horror video game series by Capcom set in an open world environment. The series contains several references to the Mega Man franchise.
  • Dead Rising is a plot in Divinity II: Flames of Vengeance received from Augustus in Aleroth.
  • The main objective of the game is to remain alive for at least three days. In-game time runs twelve times faster than real-time, so one day in the game is exactly two hours in real time. Therefore, the game can be completed in six hours of gameplay. However, there are several other elements to the game that the player can choose whether or not to pursue. dead Rising features three modes of play:
  • Dead Rising is an action-adventure, survival horror video game with RPG elements developed by Capcom and produced by Keiji Inafune. Developed as an exclusive title for the Xbox 360 video game console, in July 2008, it was announced that the game would be remade for the Wii console under the name Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop. Dead Rising was released on August 8, 2006 in North America and in Japan on September 28, 2006. The game was a commercial success. It has been introduced into the Xbox 360 "Platinum Hits" lineup, and a cell phone version has recently been released. A sequel, to be developed by Blue Castle Games alongside many of the previous developers of Dead Rising, is currently under production.
  • For some reason the game has a leveling up system similar to an RPG, it is possible to level up in this game all the way to Level 50. There are also many, many weapons that can be used to take down hungry zombies and various psychos in the mall. The game later had a remake known as Chop Until The Various Wounds Scattered On The Body Deal Enough Damage That The Zombie Has Had Enough And Goes For A Lie Down
  • Frank West, a freelance photojournalist (He's covered wars, you know!), follows a tip of unknown origin into the small town of Willamette, CO. A military lockdown of the town is hiding a Zombie Apocalypse from the media, and Frank is hellbent on getting the story. Via helicopter, he bypasses the barricades and enters the Willamette Mall in hopes of finding the secret behind the happenings... It's somewhat difficult and has a rather strange way of rewarding the player up leveling. A third game is currently in the works. Shout Outs can be found here.
  • As Frank West, the player attempts to uncover the truth behind the zombie epidemic by completing "case files" that reveal the central game plot as the game progresses. "Case files" are unlocked either by completing specific tasks or by being "in the right place at the right time" in order to observe a cutscene which serves as the story's exposition. Frank also carries a camera. By taking pictures of different situations in gameplay the player can earn "Prestige Points", a form of experience points that allows the character to increase Frank's combat abilities. Pictures are automatically evaluated and assigned a genre: either erotica, horror, outtakes, drama, or brutality.
  • It is a series of survival horror beat 'em up video games set in an open world created by Keiji Inafune. It was originally developed by Capcom until Blue Castle Games (now known as Capcom Vancouver) took over developing the franchise. The first game in the Dead Rising series. The game centers on Frank West, a photojournalist who ends up trapped in a shopping mall in the fictional town of Willamette, Colorado, that is infested with zombies.
