Richard B. Gaffin, Jr. (b. 1936) is a Reformed theologian and Professor Emeritus of Biblical and Systematic Theology at Westminster Theological Seminary. He is also an ordained teaching elder (minister) in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church. Gaffin received a B.A. from Calvin College (1958), a B.D. (1961), Th.M. (1962), and Th.D. (1969) from Westminster Theological Seminary, and undertook graduate studies at Georg-August University of Göttingen (1962-1963). His long teaching career at Westminster began in 1965. He retired in 2007.
