An Entity of Type : owl:Thing, within Data Space : dbkwik.webdatacommons.org associated with source dataset(s)

He appeared as Stephen's guest on the October 16, 2006 edition of The Colbert Report. Scheck runs The Innocence Project, a non-profit organization which uses DNA evidence to challenge the convictions of some of America's guiltiest convicts. The danger of the Project is that by finding that people who are on Death Row are innocent, Scheck is undermining the death penalty. The Project only finds about 40% of the people who claim they are innocent actually are innocent, which means the criminal justice system is batting .600, which in baseball would get you your own wing in the Hall of Fame.
