Queen Serena, also called the Squirrelqueen, was the wife of Gael Squirrelking and the mother of Truffen at Castle Floret, Southsward. She was imprisoned by Urgan Nagru when Castle Floret was conquered, but managed to escape with Truffen, while Muta, Truffen's badger nurse and Gael stayed behind. Iris' holt of otters hid and protected her until Gael Squirrelking was restored to power. Later, she and her husband adopted Wincey, Benjy and Figgs. Not to be confused with Sister Serena.
