Before the the Covenant's invasion of Earth in Fall of 2552 Earth had about seven Orbital Space Elevators, one in Mombasa City, a second in Quito, a third in Tokyo, a fourth in the capital of New York City, a fifth in London, the sixth in Havana, the final one in the Russian Federation capital of Moscow.
