Trakor was a Bajoran male who wrote several prophecies, including some referring to the Emissary of the Prophets. He lived approximately three thousand years ago. Trakor's first prophecy predicted that the person to find the Celestial Temple would be the Emissary of the Prophets. (DS9 novel: Fearful Symmetry) Trakor's fourth prophecy referred to the Emissary facing a fiery trial.
