Kerala Heap is one of the newest (2005/06) arrivals on the staff of Pataka. Born a fraction before 1980, she eventually came to adore black olives, clean beaches, and Madonna (though she doesn't watch TV now) and do a bit of teaching. There may be links there. Naturally she has heard of Freda Khalo, Mahatma Gandhi, Lou Reed, Andy Warhol, and Jesus.
