Makaku (魔角, Makaku?) was a notorious criminal and Factory bounty. One of Desty Nova's patients, he was Alita's first significant adversary (Link). He has a maggot's body which can be used to take over relatively simple cyborg bodies. He is also the first significant enemy that Alita faced.
