Gilda was the wife of the mage Trent. During their wedding, they promised to stay together forever. She was struck down by an incurable disease which turned her crimson hair white before killing her. Trent became fixated with using teleport magic to follow her to the Afterlife. He eventually succeeded, appearing in the Afterlife as ethereal and naked as every other soul in the realm. Together, they crossed over the Noumenon Bridge. Her story is told in Always and Forever. She is also mentioned by the ghost outside Aubury's Rune Shop.
