The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX is the Game Boy Color remake of The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening for the Game Boy. The game was remade with new colorful graphics compared to the originals black and white graphics, Game Boy printer compatibility, and a new dungeon. The game could be played on the original Game Boy, with grayscale graphics identical to those of the original game. The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX was rereleased on the Nintendo 3DS's Virtual Console service alongside Super Mario Land. It was available as a reward for Gold Club Nintendo members in 2013.
