After he wins and deafeats his rival, Ernie McCracken, Ernie talks Roy into hustling bowlers and then when the bowlers are onto the scam, Ernie escapes and leaves Roy to the angry bowlers, who destroy his hand. 17 years later, Roy is a bowling alley supplies seller, which doesn't make him a lot of money. While hes doing a sells call, Roy takes notice of Ishmael Boorg, a hero and a great bowler as well, and attempts to ask him to become a professional bowler, with Roy as his manager.
