Nayt Fillion was a male Human from the planet Voltar. A member of the Volta rebels, Nayt carried the job of intercepting Nationalist messages. In 7 ABY, Nayt intercepted a message from the Nationalists that said that the Galactic Republic—in reality, the Imperial Remnant—was attacking. His commanding officer, Tyno Meda, declined to help the Remnant. He and Skoti Romero, a close friend, decided to seek out Meda's old mentor, Jax Refiek and left the base for the Sutherlands. Upon arriving at the Sutherlands, he and Skoti meet with Jax, who agrees to go with them to talk to Meda.
