In 2411 Forbes held the rating of hospital corpsman and the rank of petty officer second class. She was assigned to USS McCoy. In March of that year she accompanied Commander Dr. Irim Valder from USS Black Prince to the village of Kournaka in Yarmta's Glastron Territory to take samples to check the progress of the Bashir vaccine to the Teplan blight.
