Carrie Davies appeared on Coronation Street in December 1988 as social worker Mrs Thompson, returning to the programme in June 2004 playing a Registrar. She has appeared in a long series of television programmes since the 1980s, including five separate roles in Heartbeat, and parts in The Bill, Doctors, Bad Girls and Steel River Blues.
