Acting-Crewman, abbreviated ACRM, is the second enlisted rank in the Precursor Navy. Its equivalent in the Precursor Infantry Corps is the rank, Acting-Guardsman, and in the Precursor Armoured Corps it has none. It has the same pay grade as Crewman. Naval Members often achieve this rank after three or four months of active service. After seven or eight months of active service, they are promoted to Superior Crewman.
