The Egoist is minor recurring in the Venture Bros. series. He resides in Malice and is a friend of Sgt. Hatred. In addition to the Egoist's name, the audio commentary for "Home is Where the Hate is" reveals he has psychic powers. In the original script, there was supposed to be a scene with he, Hatred, and the Mentalist Villain With Purple Cape riding around in Hatred's jeep together. As originally conceived, Hatred had a limited precognitive ability, and he hung out mostly with mentalists. However, this aspect of Hatred's character was discarded.
