Mr. Fries is a mentioned character in the novel Final Destination: Destination Zero. He is the father of Susan Fries and owns the autoshop that she works at. Mr. Fries died three months prior to the South Hill Metroline bombing in a seemingly random accident. As Mr. Fries was working on tuning up a car, the jack that was holding up the car abruptly snapped and fell down. Mr. Fries was unable to slide out in time and one of the wheels landed on his head, crushing it and killing him instantly.
