They are responsible for the protection of their pack's Chieftain as well as the enforcement of tribal law and/or military law. When a Chieftain appears, usually they will be Brute Bodyguards nearby who look quite similar to a Brute Captain. Bodyguards are also seen protecting the High Prophet of Truth in the Covenant. A Chieftain is accompanied by 2 or 4 Bodyguards.
