Born in Rome, he began drawing at an early age and was first published by Marvel Comics at the turn of the millennium. He joined CrossGen as an associate penciller and was a fill-in artist for The First and Scion, eventually taking over as the main artist on The First. This led to work on Brath and further work on Thor, Young Avengers, and his current work on IDW Publishing's Dungeon's & Dragons. More recently, he provided a retailer incentive cover for "Assimilation², Issue 8".
