Captain Gustav Remington was a Starfleet officer in the mid 23rd century and was the commanding officer of the Federation starship USS John Paul Jones. The Remington-class starship was named after him. He was succeeded as the John Paul Jones' commanding officer by Jacqueline Böhm in 2271. (Star Trek: Remington: Anthologies: "John Paul Jones")
