Dr James White LLD was a solicitor and local politician active in the Lambeth area. He died in June 1940. He was a Moderate Party member of the London County Council representing for Lambeth (Norwood) from 1895-1901. He was the first Mayor of Lambeth serving two consecutive terms from 1900-1902.
