Once a Guardian reaches level 38, Banshee-44 will offer field test weapons, which refresh every week on Armsday. Each field test weapon has a unique requirement, such as killing Cabal or achieving precision kills in the Crucible, that may be fulfilled while using the weapon. Once the requirement is fulfilled, the Guardian will immediately gain Gunsmith reputation. The field test weapon can then be dismantled without penalty if the Guardian does not wish to keep it.
