Carol Flowers was an informant of Seth Perra, a reporter for The Bay Mirror who was writing a story on the mafia. When he accidentally revealed her as a source, she was murdered. When Seth began harassing the sisters to uncover a story on their faked deaths, Paige Matthews used Carol's ghostly appearance in a failed attempt to scare him off.
